For many years we have been working on projects in the Car-to-X communication field. Our automotive know-how as well as our experience in the areas of network- and system programming are highly appreciated by our clients.
Philosys has created software components for car-to-car communication in a research project led by BMW Research and Technology Ltd.
In cooperation with Denso and Cirquent we have also implemented a prototype based on WLAN- protocol standard IEEE 802.11p.
We have worked on and implemented many various projects. Many of these can be classified under the terms 'active' (Adaptive and cooperative technologies for intelligent traffic: www.aktiv-online.org), or 'simTD' ( Safe Intelligent Mobility Test Area Germany: www.simtd.de) general research projects. Car-to-car communication as well as communication by infrastructure components (car-to-x communication) are fast becoming essential in context of these projects.
The developments run in C++ and Java on MS- Windows, Linux as well as on embedded Linux. Besides providing our clients and partners with software development services, we also provide support in data generation for C2X- infrastructure (Intersections and traffic lights).
