We have been processing projects related to the development and utilization of driving simulators for our clients since 1991. Currently our focus in the creation of driving simulation for research and development lies in the automotive sector. In particular, our application topics are driving assistance systems and control concepts.
Our main areas of responsibility lie in software development and test preparation, in which the emphasis lies in the following:
- Conceptual creation of software structures, development and tuning of real-time and multiprocessor software as well as driver development for specialized hardware.
- Software development for driving simulations, in order to have autonomous driving as well as specifically controlled traffic available.
- Realization of generally applicable modules within the framework of driving simulation, for example: user interface, data protocol, video recording, map display, controlling of specialized hardware.
- Integration, controlling and configuration of automotive algorithms, for example: driving dynamics and driving assistance systems. This is frequently achieved within the framework of a specific programming for dedicated testing.
The development is applied on Linux systems with C++, in which available interfaces for GUI and graphics programming such as Qt or OpenGL are accessed. Driving algorithms frequently employ Matlab/Simulink.
